South Ferry Terminal
Fit-Out (Phase 2)

The new, two-phase South Ferry Terminal Project will include the construction of a new tunnel and station platform. The Phase 1 tunnel construction is being performed by a joint venture of Schiavone Construction and Granite Construction and will be completed by the end of 2007. The Phase 2 portion of the project will consist of fitting-out the tunnel and platform in an aggressive 22-month schedule. Five Star’s electrical contract provides all the electrical work which includes new electric service and distribution, panels, signals, communication systems, fan plants, DC control work, fire alarms, lighting fixtures and various low voltage systems. Judlau Contracting, Inc. is the prime general contractor with MTA Capital Construction, who also serves as the architect and engineer.
