Public School 5, Manhattan

Public School 5 in upper Manhattan was one of the first new schools built for the New York City School Construction Authority. Five Star Electric was the electrical contractor on the project, providing all of the electrical installation for this new 160,000 s. f., six-story elementary school. The project was completed on schedule and within budget. The construction team included: EW Howell, Inc., general contractor, George A. Fuller Construction, construction manager, Gruzen Samton LLP, architect, and Syska & Hennessey, Inc., engineer.
