Helen & Martin Kimmel Center at New york University

The Helen & Martin Kimmel Center is a new eight-story student center for New York University. Five Star Electric installed all of the electrical work for the 500,000 s. f. building. The facility required two 4000A services, emergency generators, 3,000 lighting fixtures as well as the installation of many complex audio visual, telecommunications fiber and data systems to serve the needs of this New York University community. The construction manager was RCDolner LLC, the architect was Kevin Roche John Dinkeloo & Associates, LLC and the engineer was Thomas Polise Consulting Engineer, PC.
