New York Hudson Hotel
The Hudson in New York City is another one of Ian Schrager’s ‘hot spot’ hotels. Five Star Electric was part of the construction team to help transform the existing 26-story building on West 58th Street, off of Eighth Avenue. Five Star performed all of the electrical work for the 825 hotel rooms. The work included installation of lighting fixtures, panels, devices, fire alarms and audio visual systems. The construction manager for the project was Bovis Lend Lease, LMB. Polshek & Partner LLP provided the core and shell architectural and engineering services. Phillipe Starck served as the design architect. The owner was Henry Hudson Holdings, LLC.
